We stayed for one night at the Boulder Mountain Lodge and this restaurant on the same property as the lodge came highly recommended. I can say without reservation that eating here was one of the highlights of my 9-day trip to Southern Utah. My dinner - The Dinner Jenchilada - was some of the best Southwestern food I've EVER eaten and I can't rave enough about this amazing establishment in the middle of a tiny dot of a town on a beautiful highway. I WISH restaurants would take lessons from your kitchen on how to prepare GOOD FOOD including something as simple as a salad which was to die for. My boyfriend had to order more biscuits - another incredible menu item - to soak up the juice from his - Boulder Beef Braise. This is a genuine ORGANIC farm to table restaurant. You must purchase some of their jarred items before you leave including the Jalepeno Jam which is beyond fantastic. I am over the moon to have dined in such a fabulous restaurant, and I LOVE the ambiance and decor. Well done Jen and Blake. Well done. ❤️

Amazing Breakfast!! We came here purely by accident because the scenery was beautiful. We had the shirred eggs and some bacon and it was fantastic! More the portion size we are use to in Australia. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone. Staff were also excellent!!

I wanted to love this place. The atmosphere is charming, and the food was flavorful and well prepared. We had the trout and the lemon chicken, and enjoyed some delicious local beers. our server Kirsten was awesome, and gave us great tips for camping in the area. Sadly, what ruined the experience for us was the extremely rude treatment we received from the bus boy with the velvet blazer, and inflated view of himself. For whatever reason, he was clearly displeased by our presence from the beginning. He literally threw my silverware onto the table in front of me after seating us. Its true that we wandered in off of the trail, so maybe we weren't dressed to his standards, but this is a restaurant in the middle of the desert. I would imagine that hikers make up a large portion of your business. I would never spend $100+ to be treated that way, and can not recommend this to anyone. Get over yourself.

Pretentious? Yes.

Gourmet? Absolutely not.

After hiking slot canyons all day we stopped in here for dinner. Thoroughly surprised by the menu, staff and food. This is such a great restaurant in all ways. The food is beautifully prepared and presented, the staff is attentive and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. We will most assuredly return on any visit to the area.

There is no use for an "upscale menu" in a tiny town that caters to hikers. We hiked 10 miles that day and spent $60 for a dinner that still left us hungry. We paid $26 for a meatloaf that easily could have been a week old and $19 for some dry pasta with very little pesto on it and an added $6 for half a breast of chicken that I know wasn't made to order as it didn't look or taste fresh. We wouldn't mind a fine dining restaurant if we actually got quality food instead of garden pickings and pretentious left-overs.
