Stayed there on October 25, 2014. The room was old and run down. Killed two spiders and several other bugs during the night that were in the room. The wall paper was coming off the walls in several places. Electrical outlets were scarce and the existing ones were worn out so anything plugged into them wouldn't stay plugged in. Beds were not comfortable. Springs and mattresses looked like they were made in the '40's. Wouldn't stay there again. Definitely not worth the money!
The owner was friendly and the rooms were very clean. They have nice tables and chairs outside of each room and a very friendly dog
Being from big city suburbs, I am not used to businesses using the honor system. This place uses it (or at least used it in 2007 when I stayed there), and every time I think of my experience at this Motel I am reassured of what is good in humanity. I never met the owners, because as the instructions read, I took a key and paid in the honor box, but wanted to thank them for the experience they gave me. THANK YOU!
Nobody travelling down a desert backroad should be picky enough to give a bad review when they don't come upon the Grand Hyatt. The room I stayed in here ten years ago had a bed, a TV, a shower, an air conditioner, and it was all clean. I slept like a baby and it was a great price. I recommend this place to anyone who likes to stop and smell the flowers.
A wonderful little place. I don't know what the problem of the other reviewers was. This is a very clean and very reasonably priced little place. I say little cause there are only 3 units. One is a kitchen unit ( a super deal - a suite with a kitchen for $80 a night - beat that!) and was super nice. These rooms are NOT attached to the owners house as one reviewer wrote. Their separate house has fresh delicious produce for sale in the yard. The owner was extremely nice and friendly and had a nice dog that my dog (just allowing pets is a plus for any place!) could play with. I can't imagine what some people want in a motel. This one had everything my wife and I wanted. Pooh on those who complain about some loose wallpaper.
didn't stay in the motel, but did pass by. seems to be very nice little motel. the other reason to stay here is the 100% organic apple cider right in front of it. it was the best apple cider I ever had in my whole life
